STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING. THE GREATEST SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL IS ALONG...AND
SOUTHEAST...OF A LINE FROM NEAR IOLA...THROUGH HOWARD...TO JUST
EAST OF ARKANSAS CITY...WHERE HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF GOLFBALLS AND
A FEW TORNADOES WOULD BE THE PRIMARY THREATS. IN ADDITION...LOCALLY
DAMAGING WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. OTHERWISE...HAIL UP TO NICKEL
SIZED IS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS WHERE CLOSER TO
AN APPROACHING WARM FRONT.
